“ Gooroos catered my new husband and Is wedding on October 12th, 2018. Mike and Melissa were AMAZING!! We knew we wanted to serve pizza at our wedding, since we held it at a local brewery, but we struck out trying to find a company in Austin that had both the quality we were after, and could accommodate cooking onsite with only their own truck. My MIL found them through a recommendation on Facebook, and we headed east to check them out. From the second we pulled up they greeted us like old friends, and absolutely went out of their way to make sure we could have our exact vision come true. They were a dream to work with, and showed up on our day of early, and with 7 people to keep the whole thing running. They put together an amazing spread for both our cocktail hour and the reception, and kept the food coming the entire time. No one left hungry, and we heard both during the event and in the weeks since SO MANY compliments on the food and presentation. I never could have imagined the amount of joy that has come from choosing Gooroos as our wedding caterer, but my heart is still overflowing! ”
“ We have had their pizza a few times. I had them put meatballs pepperoni on mine today. My husband got ground beef, ham, bell pepper black olives. It was so good! We got the 12 pizzas Total was 35. But we eat that for lunch the rest for dinner. So 2 meals out of it. Which works out great! Dont have to worry about dinner! They are always fast they give you a pager so you can wait in your car. Super loud out there at that intersection. So you definitely want to wait in your car. ”

“ Living in TX as a transplant from the northeastern US, legitimately bangin pie from a mom pop pizzeria is one of the things I miss most. I was super skeptical of Gooroos at first. A pizza trailer in east TX probably cant be that good. Its probably some lame frozen dough, blah cheese and some gross thinnedtomatopaste sauce made by folks that think DiGiorno tastes like delivery... right? But nah, bish... they really got something here! They making a pie capable of stirring nostalgia, not longing. If you know how legit pie should taste, youll not be disappointed trying Gooroos and if you think great pizza comes from the big chain joints well, umm...we cant be friends. JUST KIDDING!! We can totally be friends and as your new friend, Im telling you to try this pizza... and I dunno, maybe even invite your new friend over for dinner. Just a thought, no presh tho. ”
“ Ive been going to Gooroos when they are in town for years because it is my all time favorite pizza! I knew I had to have them cater my wedding, and they did not disappoint!! They were communicative, punctual, and so easy to work with. Not to mention, the pizza was DELICIOUS, and the buffet style setup was sooooo aesthetic, people believed we payed much much more than we did! It was an absolute hit, we had barely any leftovers at the end of the night, which was such a bummer, but we were so glad that our guests loved it as much as we did. So thankful for Michael and Melissa being such a large part of our big day! ”
“ Great folks! I saw them on Google maps on the way to my land of all places, scratched my head wondering what a bougie wood fired pizza joint was doing out here. When I saw the truck set up in Buffalo I had to stop by, and man if this stuff wasnt a top tier top quality pizza. I had their rendition of a meat lovers, My brain did not know how to process this. Were standing there in hunting camo, in the town of a couple thousand tops, and this stuff was every bit as good or better than the wood fired joints I go to here in downtown Houston. I could easily see these guys getting a cult following of people going between Houston and Dallas that just have to make their stop off 79 to grab a pie. Hope they keep the ovens going for years to come, because these folks put some serious love into their food. ”
